What We Do

Our approach is one of support and advice for mature teams and businesses, or providing “hands on” operational assistance in very early stage ventures.  All of our team have experience working in growing biotech ventures and enjoy working with entrepreneurs. Through our close relationship with BioInnovation SA we have links to non-dilutive funds and a state of the art life science incubator building at Thebarton.

Funds

We currently manage the SALSA Fund. This is a $35m early-stage fund positioned in the growing life science industry in South Australia.  We do this by investing predominantly in South Australian life science companies but we have the flexibility to make, and have made, investments outside of the life science field and outside of South Australia.

Investment

The amount of funding available to companies will  vary on a case by case basis, although investments are likely to be in the range of AUD$100,000 to AUD$1.5m, with follow-on funding available.

Terra Rossa Capital seeks to invest in early stage companies operating at the Hot Spots of Innovation at the interface of bioscience, engineering, and information/communications technology.
