A typical investment process for a seed / early-stage investment will consist of six key steps.

1. Non-Confidential Disclosure:

A company will approach us with an overview of their technology, a brief business plan or presentation. We then begin to assess if the technology fits within our investment space.

2. Initial Evaluation

We will asses the business proposition and determine if we will pursue the opportunity which leads to continuation of the dialogue and requests for further material.

3. Confidential Disclosure

If we believe the technology may be a match with our experience and that we can leverage our experience and our network to add value, we will seek further proprietary information and will execute a confidentiality agreement.

4. Due Diligence

We will then engage in formal due diligence, this process is aided by the level of information and documentation that the company already has available to support the business plan.

5. Term Sheet Negotiations

When due diligence is sufficiently complete, we will negotiate the key terms and structure of the investment and enter into a terms sheet which will also outline the process for closing the investment.

6. Closing

Once we have completed due diligence, prepared legal documentation, and all conditions have been met, we will finalise the investment.
